We are a community of hobbyists and gamers brought together by our love of Middle Earth. Our club focuses on the Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game, combining tactical play with the creativity of building models, painting and storytelling. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the hobby, you’ll find a welcoming space to roll dice, share strategies, and bring Tolkien’s world to life on the tabletop.
OUR STORY
Melton MESBG Community was birthed from Jack Darlington creating a slow-grow league in July 2023, when he moved to Melton Mowbray and wanted to get connected with local players. The success of this league sparked the idea of running a games club, after struggling to get booked in to a local wargaming club. Since launching in January 2024, Melton MESBG Community has hosted a fortnightly games club that players have travelled from far and wide to attend. After trialling a BETA version of Let's Hunt Some Pork, Jack has gone on to host several successful events, boasting excellent scenery, prizes and food.
Establishing a diverse team to support Jack and the Melton MESBG Community has brought new strengths, skills and ideas to the club and events, ensuring everything runs smoothly and that the community can continue to grow.
